CINE WORKSHOP:

In collaboration with the Escuela Superior de Imagen y Sonido de Madrid, CES , and Paramotion Films, various courses will be held in the Centro Cultural de La Alhóndiga & La Casa Joven, where film sets, suitably equipped for production and post-production, and other workshops will be installed.

The Workshops are designed to acquaint pupils with cinema from a technical and artistic viewpoint.

Explanation will be given of filming techniques, the various techniques used in cinematography, script-writing and the opportunities offered by cinema as a profession in its various specializations.

 

WORKSHOP OF FILM TECHNIQUES I y II

Knowing how things are done can make us more interested, make us see them in another way. This is what we aim to do with these workshops, designed to bring cinema to young people from a technical and artistic perspective. We aspire to make the world of cinema known from inside and seen as team work, where tasks and responsibilities are shared among a film production team.

Each group of pupils will write a script for no more than 4 minutes filming time. We will shoot two stories, one per group in High Definition DV. The workshops will each be directed by an teacher from CES, Escuela Superior de Imagen y Sonido.

Objectives: To acquaint young people with the different technical and artistic professions related with cinema

  • WORKSHOP I: Students from 1º & 2º Bachillerato.
  • WORKSHOP II: University students. Adults over 18.

Days: From Monday 12th to Tuesday 20th of November.

  • WORKSHOP I. From 09,00 to 14,00 hours
  • WORKSHOP II . From 16,00 to 21,00 hours

Work Plan : 12th, 13th & 14th of November:- script-writing, technology, location, casting and preparations for shooting.

  • 16th & 17th of November: shooting, 8 hours daily.
  • 18th of November: post-production, 4 hours per group.
20th of November, editing, sound and final touches.
FX WORKSHOP OF DIGITALIZED SPECIAL EFFECTS

Objectives: Discovery and analysis of how special effects are done in the most famous films. Participants will also try out making scale models, prints and 3D models using new technologies. The objectives of this workshop are to get to know the different TIC's (Technologies and Forms of Communication) that exist around us and the different applications thereof, in an enjoyable and practical way.

Designed for: Young people over 16.

Days: Wednesday 14th , Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17 th & Sunday 18th.

  • From 19,00 to 21,00 hours, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
  • From 09,30 to 11,30 hours, Saturday and Sunday

STOP MOTION WORKSHOP. ANIMATION WITH PLASTICINE

Objectives: Stop-motion technique consists of filming one still at a time, with the workshop acting as a space where the participant will have to animate the characters and scenery he himself will create. In this way pupils will get to know how film animation professionals work, while they themselves create their own animated film

Designed for: Children from 8 to 10 yrs

Days: Wednesday 14th, Thursday 15th, Friday 16th, Saturday 17 th & Sunday 18th.

SCRIPT-WRITING WORKSHOP. ESCUELA SUPERIOR DE IMAGEN Y SONIDO DE MADRID, CES

The audio-visual industry relies heavily on the indisputable cornerstone of the film script. High technology is useless without content. We will initiate pupils in this discipline using a practical and enjoyable method, with instructors capable of transmitting the fascination of scriptwriting as a profession to them.

The audio-visual industry has grown enormously in recent years and there is a real need for more script-writers, technicians and producers. Our instructors aim to make this insight into the world of script-writing a positive and gratifying experience, opening up a new future.

This workshop will allow us to see the initial results of this introduction to the world of script-writing.

Objectives: To acquaint young people with script-writing.

Designed for: Students from 1º & 2º Bachillerato and University students.

Content: Writing a script.

Days: From 12th to 17th of November

Duration: 30 hours

  • MORNING WORKSHOP: From 09,00 to 14,00 hours. Designed for students from 1º & 2º Bachillerato.
  • AFTERNOON WORKSHOP: From 16,00 to 21,00 hours. Designed for University students.
